i got a question for ya, how do you think reason compares to live? I can choose form reason 2.5 and live4 and i am stumped :P

what program do you use? since you said you have a mac, you could go in for digital performer 4.1.1, or even 3.1.1 which is cheaper now (only about 250 on bargain websites) If you use sibelius, it is good for writing, but not as good for sequencing, which is what i'm guessin you are more into. Anyways, for sound, look into gigastudios, or mach 5. quicktime has good cheap sounds, and same with an old retro as-1 patch bank. Same with things like JV-1010's... they're old now, so you can find them for very good prices, and they still do the job. Anyways, Peace out. Keep it up with the music! PS if you have any midi questions, i can probably help.
